Celtic mount pressure on faltering Dons
Celtic breathing down the necks of Aberdeen after closing the gap at the top of the table to just one point.
The Hoops scraped past an exciting and positive Hamilton team at New Douglas Park with goals coming from Dedryck Boyata and Leigh Griffiths.
Meanwhile table-toppers Aberdeen lost once again, their third in a row in all competitions after St Johnstone hammered the Dons 5-1 at Pittodrie.
The two sides will meet again at Paradise on October 31st, when Celtic will be looking to avenge their 2-1 away defeat the last time the two teams met.
But Celtic could top the table after the next round of fixtures should the Dons slip up again and Celtic beat Motherwell, Deila knows the Hoops will be back in pole position.
Speaking to the Daily Record he said he still isn’t getting carried away this early into the season.

It’s very encouraging. We are breathing down their necks and we will keep pushing.*
With the international break disrupting club football once again, Delia can dust himself down and get ready for a busy October including games against Molde, Aberdeen and Hearts in the Scottish Cup quarter-final.
