According to STV, Celtic are no longer pursuing 22-year-old Croatian midfielder Ljuban Crepulja.
Crepulja has spent a week on trial with Ronny Deila’s side, however the Norwegian is no longer interested in making the move permanent.
Crepulja is a former Croation Under-20 international and plays for Slaven Belupo in his home country.
With his current side, he has made 88 appearances and got himself on the scoresheet three times. He has also shown he ability to set up his teammates, having racked up eight assists.
It is thought that Celtic’s attentions have shifted to young Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts.
The youngster is believed to be set for a loan spell at Celtic Park, having made only three appearances for City since a big money move from Fulham in the summer.
Roberts currently represents England at Under-19 level and has 14 caps to his name. He has scored six goals for his country.
