The 17-year-old signed for a fee in the region of £750,000 and agreed to a four-year deal last month which will begin this summer.
So far he has made 48 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists to date for his current club IK Start.
He made the move from Lillestrom SK in 2014, and has gone on to impress a host of European clubs who were keeping tabs on him including PSG, Roma, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Having spent a week in Glasgow at Lennoxtown with the first-team in January, the youngster impressed both coaches and his fellow Norwegian Ronny Deila.
With talk of the youngster being in the same bracket as Real Madrid player Martin Odegaard, Celtic fans will hope they have a future star player in their grasp.
