Scott Allan has revealed who he thinks is the most skillful player and the best trainer at Celtic.

The 24-year-old midfielder has struggled to break into the first-team since his arrival in August from Hibernian, making just two starts against Hamilton last month and Fenerbahce in the Europa League.

However, he still trains with the squad and believes that 19-year-old Patrick Roberts is the most skilful player while captain Scott Brown is the best trainer.

As quoted by CelticTV, when asked who is the most skillful player and hardest working in training are, Allan said:

Probably wee Patrick.

I would say work wise Broony [Brown], 100 per cent.

Allan has had to settle for 14 other appearances off the bench in which he has assisted his team-mates on five occasions.

Fans have called for him to feature more regularly in the Celtic side which has struggled to open up defences and create chances at times this season.

With the season coming to a close and Celtic needing to put together an unbeaten run to make sure they secure a fifth successive title, Allan will hope to be part of Deila’s plans.
