Celtic set to offer pre-contract to Turkish international
Celtic are interested in Fenerbahce star Hasan Ali Kaldirim and are considering offering him a pre-contract which would ensure he joins the club in the summer.
According to a report in the print edition of the Sunday Express, Celtic have been monitoring the Turkish international and could secure a deal which would endure that he arrives at the club for free at the end of the season.
Kaldirim can play as a left back, left wing-back or left midfielder and his versatility would be a huge asset to manager Brendan Rodgers if a deal is secured.
The 27-year-old is a regular in Dick Advocaat‘s Fenerbahce side and has started 14 of their 16 league games so far. However, the player and club have not been able to agree terms on a contract extension, and as such, he is free to talk to other teams ahead of a possible summer move.
To get an experienced international player for free would be a huge bonus for Celtic if they can persuade the player to make a move to Scotland.
