Nadir Ciftci has signed for Polish side Pogon Szczecin on loan move for the remainder of the season.
The 24-year-old has only made four appearances under Brendan Rodgers this season, playing a total of 43 minutes.
Ciftci’s move to the seventh placed side was confirmed on their official website after he completed a medical earlier today.
It’s fair to say Ciftci has been out of favour under Rodgers and will now get a chance to play regular first-team football in a bid to save his Celtic career.
The window in Poland remaining open until the end of the month, the Celtic striker will move to the seventh placed side to get regular game time.
Ciftci was linked with move to Motherwell on deadline day last month, having flown to Holland earlier in the day in an attempt to win a contract, but neither move materialised.
Moussa Dembele’s arrival last summer has pushed the Turkish striker further down the pecking order, and will now look to impress during his time away from the club.
