Patrick Roberts looks set to return on loan to Celtic from Manchester City after telling the club hierarchy he wants to return to the club.

The winger went on a preseason tour with the club that signed him in 2015, but all his success has come north of the border for the Hoops, winning four trophies and playing in the Champions League.

According to Kenny Macintyre of BBC Scotland, the 20-year-old will tell the Premier League side today he wants to return to Glasgow on loan once again, and messages from Celtic fans have played a major role in his decision.
