Three English sides enquire about Jozo Simunovic
Three Premier League sides, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Watford, have enquired about the availability of Celtic’s Jozo Simunovic, according to a reports from the Daily Mail.
Celtic are determined to hold onto the 23-year-old and it is thought that only an extraordinarily high offer would be considered but the club.
The defender, who recently switched his international allegiances from Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a key member of Brendan Rodgers’ side and it was unlikely that he’d ever be sold but the fact that Celtic have struggled to bring in any other defenders means a move away looks all but impossible.
Rivaldo Coetzee failed a medical so his move to Celtic Park was called off whilst Jason Denayer, who the Scottish champions hoped to take on loan for a second time, is moving to Galatasaray.
So, it looks like Palace, Leicester and Watford continue to search for a new defender as Simunovic is unlikely to be leaving Scotland any time soon.
