Moussa Dembele marked his return with a goal for Celtic as they extended their unbeaten run to 55 games under Brendan Rodgers and remained top of the table.
Tom Rogic opened the scoring on 13 minutes with a driving shot from outside the box which took a slight deflection on its way towards goal.
James Forrest went close on 33 minutes after cutting inside but could only watch his shot curl away from the bottom left corner.
Fresh off his first Champions League appearance for the club, Anthony Ralston came close to scoring first goal for the Hoops but saw his shot cannon back off the post.
In his first start in two months, Dembele marked his return with his first goal of the season in his 52nd appearance for Celtic to double their lead three minutes before half-time.
Forrest bagged a brace in the second half on 52 and 74 minutes to secure a comfortable win for Celtic.
Here are the player ratings from today’s game.
Craig Gordon 7/10
Comfortable save inside 10 minutes and made another save 10 minutes before half-time. Super double save and to denied Gardine once again a minute later.
Anthony Ralston 7/10
Played right side of centre-back but still got forward to support Forrest. Great effort on goal which struck the post. Good defensively when called upon and had a superb work rate down the right side.
Jozo Simunovic 6/10
Very little to do in the game commanding the defence.
Nir Bitton 6.5/10
Untroubled on the left side of the back three for the Hoops. Came out of defence with the ball providing Celtic with more options going forward. Super run from defence and almost had a chance to score.
Scott Brown 6.5/10
Sat back to make a back three when Ralston went forward down the right flank. Swept up the second ball well and controlled proceedings from a deep lying midfield role.
James Forrest 8/10
Good start to the game and pressed the ball well winning possession twice to get Celtic on the attack. Brilliant cross to Dembele who miscued his shot. Followed up Rogic’s shot to make it 3-0 to Celtic and added a fourth.
Stuart Armstrong 7/10
Good start to the game playing a dynamic attacking role in a central area. Curling shot from distance went just over the bar. Linked up well with Dembele.
Tom Rogic 8/10
Well taken goal which took a slight deflection to opening the scoring from outside the box. Oozed class as ever on the ball coasting past players and driving at the opposing defence. A number of shots from distance which had the ‘keeper worried in the game. At the heart of everything good going forward for the home side.
Jonny Hayes 6/10
Tried his best down the left but once again lacking in quality for long periods of the game.
Leigh Griffiths 6/10
Sharp early on and won a free kick with a quick turn of pace. Good build up play in tight areas but never got a clear sight of goal to have a shot. Great work rate off the ball.
Moussa Dembele 7/10
Good one-two with Armstrong. Misshit the shot from Forrest’s clearly lacking match sharpness. Super goal from outside the box in his first game in two months. Lacking match sharpness but great to have him back and on the scoresheet.
Odsonne Edouard 6/10
Came on for Dembele with 31 minutes left in the game. Some tidy touches when he came on and could get another chance up front for the League Cup game in midweek. Had two snapshot attempts on goal.
Callum McGregor 6/10
Replaced Armstrong with 30 minutes left in the game. Good play on the ball when he came on and linked up with Edouard.
Scott Sinclair N/A
Came on for Griffiths with 15 minutes remaining in the game. Sharp when he came on and tested the ‘keeper twice.
