Moussa Dembele scored a brace off the bench to seal Celtic’s place in their third consecutive domestic Cup final in a six goal thriller at Hampden against Hibernian.

In the opening half, Brendan Rodgers’ side dominated possession but struggled to create any clear cut chances from open play.

Lustig opened the scoring on 14 minutes after getting on the end of Stuart Armstrong’s cross that was flicked onto him at the back post.

The Swede doubled Celtic’s lead just before half-time from Leigh Griffiths corner kick after finding himself in space at the back post once again and squeezed the ball in at the right hand post.

Dedryck Boyata won the ball inside the box but the referee awarded a penalty which Anthony Stokes converted on 59 minutes.

Dembele scored a brace either side of Oli Shaw’s goal to kill the tie off and seal Celtic’s place in next months final on Sunday 26 November.
