Thomas Muller will miss Celtic clash due to injury
Thomas Muller scored the opening goal for Bayern Munich as they beat Celtic 3-0 in the Champions League last week but he won’t be able to repeat that feat on Halloween as he’s been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh injury.
Celtic will be hoping to use the special atmosphere at Celtic Park to their advantage as they look to add another name to the list of top sides they’ve beaten at home in Europe and if they can do just that, they’ll go level with Bayern on six points.
Their task will be a tough one, however, with the Germans dominating the first meeting between the two sides last week but things might have gotten a tiny bit easier for Celtic with the news of Muller’s absence.
The German international was forced off with a thigh injury during Bayern’s win over Hamburg on Saturday afternoon and the club have announced that he’ll be out for around three weeks, which means he’ll miss the trip to Parkhead next Tuesday
