Griffiths sets his sights on 100 goals for Celtic
In an interview with Celtic TV, Leigh Griffiths has discussed his desire to reach a century of goals for the Hoops.
Celtic’s talisman added to his impressive goal tally against Ross County on Saturday with a stunning free kick to hand Celtic a 1-0 win, taking him only a handful of goals away from the 100 mark.
I’ll just keeping chipping away and helping the team get three points, that’s the most important thing.
I’m hoping to do it by the turn of the year and when it does come it will be special.
Celtic have a tough winter schedule coming up and a lot of games still to be played by the end of the year, so if Griffiths can stay injury free then he will feel confident of reaching his goal target.
This schedule couldn’t have a tougher start, with the team traveling to Paris to play PSG in the Champions League. Griffiths will hope to add to his European goal tally after scoring against Anderlecht in Brussels in a previous group stage fixture.
The trip to France will be followed by another chance of silverware under Brendan Rodgers, with a clash against Motherwell in the League Cup final at Hampden on Sunday.

The 27-year-old signed for Celtic in January 2014 and racked up and incredible 40 goals in the 2015/16 season.
While he continues to play in this record-breaking team, how many goals for the Hoops can he score?
