Celtic drawn against Zenit in Last 32 of the Europa League
Celtic will face Football Club Zenit in the Last 32 of the Europa League.
The first leg is at Celtic Park on Thursday, February 15th with the return leg away in Russia on Thursday, February 22nd.
As an unseeded team, Celtic could have been drawn against any Europa League group winner or any of the four highest ranked sides who fell from the Champions League and in the end, it was Zenit who were pulled out of the pot.
Having finished in third place in their Champions League group, Brendan Rodgers’ men earned a place in European competition in the New Year and they’ll already be looking forward to the double header with
Celtic’s UEFA Cup run under Martin O’Neill is still spoken of to this day and Hoops fans across the world will be hoping that the current squad are able to emulate that one again under Rodgers.
