Celtic have completed the singing St Mirren’s Lewis Morgan, with the youngster due to return there on loan.
As per the club’s official website, the winger put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal with the Scottish champions.
Morgan has been a long-term target for Brendan Rodgers, who has acted quickly to secure his signature.
It has been reported that Celtic will pay somewhere in the region of £300,000 for his services.
The winger has been impressing so far this season, scoring nine times in the Scottish Championship.
St Mirren currently sit top of the pile in the Scottish Championship and Morgan has played a key role in their success.
The club have confirmed that the player will return to Celtic in the summer and report for pre-season training along with his new teammates.
Morgan is Celtic’s second January signing after Marvin Compper joined from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
