Celtic have confirmed that Nadir Ciftci has signed for Motherwell on loan until the end of the season.

The club have released a statement confirming Cifti has finally completed his move to Motherwell after returning from his loan spell in England.

Ciftci spent the first-half of the season on loan to League One side Plymouth Argyle.

He failed to score a goal for Plymouth in seven appearances for the club, after also failing to score a goal in ten appearances for Pogoń Szczecin in Poland last season.

Ciftci signed for Celtic in the summer of 2015 from Dundee United for a fee in the region of £1.5m.

Since then, Ciftci scored four goals in 26 appearances for Celtic. All four goals came in his first 11 league appearances for Celtic.
