Blow for Rogic as U20’s game is postponed
Both Celtic and Tom Rogic have been dealt a blow with the news that the club’s U20’s game against Motherwell has been postponed.
The Daily Record reports that the club’s U20s were due to play this evening and Rogic was set to feature.
The midfielder was set to play in an attempt to boost his fitness as he eyes a come back in Thursday night’s game against Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.
Snow at Morton’s ground means that the game against Motherwell will not take place tonight.
A serious knee injury has kept Rogic out of the Celtic side for some time, he has not featured in the Scottish Premiership since early December.
Rogic was named on the bench against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup at the weekend, but the player did not feature in the game.
Rodgers nearly brought the player on in the second half but then decided to play Eboue Kouassi rather than the 25-year-old.
