Celtic still keeping tabs on Borja Iglesias
Earlier this month, Celtic were linked with a move for Celta Vigo striker Borja Iglesias and it appears that the interest is genuine as the Daily Record report that the Scottish Premiership champions have been keeping a close eye on his over the last few weeks.
The 25-year-old, on loan at Real Zaragoza, has scored six goals in his last six games, which will not have gone unnoticed by the Celtic scouts who have been tasked with watching him.
Playing in Spain’s Segunda Division, Iglesias’ game looks to have come on leaps and bounds and with Celtic likely to be in the market for a striker in the summer, it is easy to see why they are interested in him.
Would you Should Celtic pay the £7m to keep Odsonne Edouard?
Yes
No
Odsonne Edouard may return to Paris Saint-Germain if Celtic decide he’s not worth the £7m it’d take to make his move permanent, whilst the questions about Moussa Dembele’s future seem to be constantly swirling around the Celtic news sphere.
Swansea and Brentford are also said to be interested in Iglesias, but Celtic will be hopeful that the offer of European football will be enough to entice him to Celtic Park.
