Douglas discusses the gulf in quality between Celtic and Rangers
Celtic eased past Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final last weekend with a comprehensive 4-0 victory, which only further showed demonstrated the gulf in quality between the two according to Rab Douglas, writing in The Courier.
Rangers were well off the pace and found it really difficult to cope with Celtic throughout the match.
Skipper Lee Wallace and striker Kenny Miller have both since been suspended by the club following the event after a dressing room bust-up with their manager, Graeme Murty following the game last weekend.
Rangers are clearly inferior to Celtic at this moment in time and it’s tough to see them getting close any time soon, with the gulf between the two being more prominent now than ever.
Celtic are set to storm to the title once again in Scotland, with Rangers currently 13 points behind their Glasgow rivals.
Douglas has spoken about the situation following the game and he feels that Rangers are way behind Celitc in terms of quality:
Celtic barely needed to get out of second gear while Rangers looked like rabbits caught in the headlights.
Brendan Rodgers’ side dominated all over the pitch – even their bench had so much more quality compared to their rivals.
