Jo Inge Berget is planning to use his inside knowledge of Celtic to bring down the Hoops in the Champions League playoff round.
The Norwegian had an indifferent loan spell at Celtic, after starting promisingly with two goals in first home league game of the season, Berget went on to make just three more appearances for Celtic before his loan spell at Celtic was terminated.
After being released by Championship side Cardiff City, Berget signed a 3-year deal with the back-to-back Swedish champions
“We will look at them [their weaknesses] internally. I’ll tell Age (Hareide) some secrets of how to win,” Berget told Swedish Daily Expressen.
“I know many of the players and what they are good at. They are a strong team. It is about taking the fight to them because they are a hard working team.”
Berget also gave his thoughts on his time at Celtic and feels hard done by for not getting a fair chance.
“It started when we had a poor Champions League qualifiers and had a bit of luck against Legia. Then we went out to Maribor. I got a good start in the league with two goals in the first home game. After that, there was not a lot of games. I hope I can get some revenge.”
