Polarised Celtic striker Stefan Scepovic is attracting interest from second division Spanish side Real Valladolid, according to Spanish outlet Blanquivioletas, as per InsideFutbol.
The 25-year-old signed for Celtic in the summer of 2014 for a fee of £2.3 million but has struggled to adapt to the Scottish game. Following an impressive season for Sporting Gijon netting 23 goals, Scepovic was expected to be bagging goals for fun in the Scottish Premier league.
Since the arrival of Nadir Ciftci from Dundee United, the Serbian has fallen further down the pecking order at Paradise and is seemingly on his way out after just 25 appearances and six goals.
Scepovic has also attracted interest from Getafe, along with former club Sporting Gijon, who would be happy to welcome the Serbian back. It would be a better move for Scepovic as both will be playing in La Liga rather than plying his trade in the Spanish second tier with Real Valladolid.
