Victor Wanyama is looking to move on, just two-years after making the switch to the sunny south of Southampton from Celtic.
The midfielder has told Southampton that he is unhappy and wants to leave according to the Daily Mail.
If the Kenyan were to leave, Celtic would net 10 per cent as part of a sell-on clause in the deal between the Hoops and Southampton back in the summer of 2013.
Wanyama left Celtic for a fee of £12.5 million two years ago and still has two years left on his contract at St. Mary’s, but says he won’t discuss or sign a new contract.
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman said earlier this week that the player was not for sale though the club are believed to value him at £18 million.
It is understood Wanyama has been unhappy for some time on the south coast and was further unsettled following a burglary at his home last year, which has contributed to him wanting a fresh start.
