Anthony Stokes has had a torrid time at Celtic of late and is increasingly polarised under manager Ronny Deila.
He has be touted to leave the club this summer and maybe he was dropping a hint to the Celtic board by liking this photo on Instagram as the uncertainty surrounding his future continues.

It’s not either mans fault, Stokes doesn’t suit Deila’s philosophy which is why he went and bought Armstrong and Mackay-Steven from Dundee United in January. And the Norwegian clearly doesn’t see Stokes as the person to spearhead his attack when he has signed two strikers since he took over last summer.
His goal scoring record isn’t all that bad in comparison to what we bought this summer in Nadir Ciftci and already have in Scepovic. He has scored 21 goals on two occasions (in 2011/12 and 2013/14) for the Hoops but scored just eight times last season in 38 appearances largely due to his role on the left side of midfield rather than up front.
Alongside Gary Hooper the two of them were a menacing duo and in my opinion is the best partnership we have had since Larsson and Sutton. Both Hooper and the Irishman linked up together and found the net time and time again with Hooper’s clinical finishing and Stokes quick feet they were a nightmare to handle.
