Celtic have confirmed the signing of Jozo Simunovic from Dinamo Zagreb for a fee believed to be in the region of £5.25 million on a five-year-deal.
The news that the deal was completed was confirmed by the official club website.
Simunovic has been a starter for Dinamo Zagreb for two years since making his first start as a 19-year-old.
Zagreb have qualified for the Champions League this season and were drawn into Group F alongside Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Olympiacos last Thursday.
Earlier yesterday a fee was agreed between the two clubs after being confirmed by Sky Sports on Twitter:

The move has been confirmed after passing the medical and agreeing personal terms with the Hoops.
At just 21-years-old, Simunovic is a highly rated centre-back in Croatia having already made eight starts for the Under-21 national side and has made 52 club appearances, scoring three goals.
Confirmation of the transfer means that Simunovic becomes Ronny Deila’s eighth summer signing with Ryan Christie signing earlier today.
New defence for the Hoops. Hope they settle quickly.
