Celtic’s summer signing Scott Allan says he is ready for the challenge ahead at Paradise and will be ready to take his chance when presented with an opportunity.
Allan has featured twice for Deila’s side since his move from championship side Hibernian and impressed in his debut against Dundee United.
With plenty of games coming up for Celtic and the calendar packed until Christmas, the young Scot is ready to play when called upon, as the club’s official website reported.
There are a lot of games coming up so I think everybody will get a chance.
It’s just up to me to take mine when I’m given it.
I knew when I signed here I’d need to be patient. I’ve had minutes to come on and show, but I know I just need to wait for my chance.
At 23 years of age, Allan will be looking to take the next step in his career at Celtic and become a first team regular. And learning how Deila wants him to play will be crucial to his success, as he noted.
The last few weeks have just been about blending into the way we play, learning how we work off the ball and what we want to do going forward so it’s just about being part of that and developing.
Deila’s Bhoys travel to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen this weekend, who remain unbeaten in the league having taken maximum points from their first five games.
