Since his move to Celtic Park, Allan has kept his head down both on and off the pitch.
The Celtic youngster moved from Hibernian in a controversial move because his boyhood club was Rangers and Allan avoided Twitter ignore what disgruntled fans were saying.
Hibernian rejected three separate bids by his boyhood club before Allan opted to join Scottish Premier League champions Celtic.
His move to the Bhoys led to a backlash on Twitter from many Rangers fans who felt he betrayed his boyhood club. But the 23-year-old had a very simple message for those after completing his move to the Hoops by favouriting this tweet.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Allan opened up about the whole saga.
I tend to keep my head down anyway and I don’t let myself get involved in any situations.
In terms of social media, I still use Instagram but I’ve not used Twitter since I’ve been here at Celtic. It’s not worth the hassle of reading the abuse so I avoid it.
Being a Glasgow boy, he is all too familiar with the hostility between both sets of fans but says he won’t let it get in the way of his career and being ambitious.
You can be a little bit worried when you are out and about yourself because you don’t know who is about, but you try not to live your life feeling that way.
Allan will be hoping to get more playing time as he learns under manager Ronny Deila and even progress in Europe, which was a big reason why he joined Celtic.
I was going to Alloa away last year so the prospect of playing massive clubs like Ajax and Fenerbahce is great for me.
The Hoops midfielder is also excited about the prospect of facing off against one world-class player in the Fenerbahce team.
To get he chance to play against guys like Robin van Persie? That’s why you come to a club like Celtic – to play against big teams and big names.
