Celtic will be looking for a clean sheet and three points after back-to-back draws against Hearts and Fenerbahce.

Both games could easily have been victories, only for some poor finishing against the Jambos and sloppy defending by Ambrose against the Turkish side.

Deila will be hoping to avoid the same result as this time last year against the Accies when they lost 1-0 on October 5th at Celtic Park.

Player-manager Martin Canning is hopeful of Darian MacKinnon returning to the starting line-up and if they win they would move within a point of the league champions.

Celtic

Efe Ambrose is suspended for Sunday’s game after being sent off last Saturday against Hearts, rescuing the Hoops from a possible defeat.

Izaguirre returns to the squad after being suspended for Thursday night’s game against Fenerbahce.

Defender Jozo Simunovic is a big doubt however with a twisted ankle while Charlie Mulgrew and Scott Allan are still out and recovering from their injuries. Allan trained on Friday but isn’t in the provisional squad for Sunday’s trip to New Douglas Park.

Hamilton

MacKinnon missed last week’s win at Kilmarnock with an ankle knock but has returned to training and will be available for Sunday for the visit of Celtic.

Danny Redmond is out with a hamstring injury and Michael Devlin remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
