Four things we learnt: Celtic 5-0 Dundee United (H)

Even though Celtic’s 5-0 hammering of Dundee United looked like a training exercise, we did learn some things from the game.

Kieran Tierney is beginning to grow into the role at left-back and Izaguirre is surely keep Tierney’s seat in the Celtic defence warm for when he replaces the Honduran.

Jozo Simunovic made his first start at Paradise and just his second since signing deadline day. The Croatian looked comfortable on the ball, and although untested, there is plenty to look forward to with him in the team.

Goals from Scott Brown, Dedryck Boyata, Leigh Griffiths and two from Kris Commons gave Celtic some ground to build upon after their latest disappointment in Europe.
