Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton spoke ahead of the game against Molde on Thursday and knows all too well what the media in Scotland do to Celtic.
Talks of a crisis after one loss and pressuring Ronny Deila and questioning his future at the club are all too familiar for Sutton as he experienced it himself when he played for the Hoops.
Now, however, the expectation is even greater since the demise and death of Rangers as Scotland has become a one-horse race.

Ronny Deila was just one terrible referring decision from the Scottish Cup final and could well have been a domestic treble in his first season. Instead, he only managed a domestic double and reached the last-32 of the Europa League. What a disappointment.
Sutton was at Celtic Park ahead of the game and spoke to BBC Sport, and had a wry smile saying:
You know the nature of the bis (business) up here in Scotland there’s mass hysteria.
I think that the performance is essential as well as the result is important.
There would be questions asked if Celtic were out played and out thought by Molde, but let’s cross that bridge and let’s wait for the game on Thursday.
If Celtic beat Molde and Ajax they have a very god chance to qualify.
Despite the defeat to Molde Sutton believes the team have responded well, but knows many fans separate domestic results and European results.
The bottom line is Celtic have responded exceptionally well to the defeat against Molde; beating Dundee United, a tricky game against Hearts in the (League) Cup and beating Aberdeen well.
People and fans separate European football from domestic stuff and that’s just the way it is so Celtic need a big performance and result on Thursday.
