According to reports, Celtic are watching Danish international defender Erik Sviatchenko.
The 24-year-old has a £1.5 million buy-out clause this January but there are plenty of other clubs including West Brom, Bournemouth and Stoke looking his services.
Sviatchenko plies his trade at centre-back, and could be the man to partner Jozo Simunovic in the heart of the Celtic defence in light of other defenders performances.
His side Midtjylland, beat Southampton to reach the group stages of the Europa League and captained them in all but five games he has played in this season.
They currently sit second in their group behind the Italian side and are also in second place in their domestic league.
Celtic were tracking him last year according to the Daily Mail and can hopefully step-up their efforts to resolve their defensive problems in Europe.
The Danish international has scored three times this season for Midtjylland and has made 126 appearances in his career so far.
