Ryan Christie set to return to Celtic

Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie is set to return to Celtic in the coming days in an exclusive report.

The 20-year-old sustained the knee injury after landing awkwardly during Saturday’s 3-1 win against Motherwell and will return to Paradise to receive treatment for the injury.

Although the injury is not as serious as the scans revealed, and he will spend three weeks working with the medical staff at Celtic to repair the damage according to the Daily Express.

The tests carried out on his knee also ruled out any possibility of him needing surgery to repair the damage, and will instead link up with the Celtic squad much earlier than initially expected.

It’s hoped Christie will be able to take to the Lennoxtown training field before Christmas with the intention of embedding him into the squad and get to know his team-mates.
