Ronny Deila is always keen to bring through youth players and Aidan Nesbitt might be the next one to make that leap.
As we saw with Kieran Tierney, Deila took him from the development squad to the senior team in 12 months molding him into a talented and vibrant left-back.
The 18-year-old has already played in key games against Molde, Fenerbahce and Aberdeen, and will hope to line out again next Thursday against Ajax.
Both Nesbitt and Tierney played alongside each other for many years, so it’s no surprise that one doesn’t come without the other at this stage.

Nesbitt made his first-team debut against Raith Rovers, and although brief, he got his first taste of action at senior level for Celtic.
So it’s no surprise that the 18-year-old is being hailed by Deila as one of the most talented young players in Europe.
As quoted by the Daily Record, he said:
Aidan Nesbitt is one of the most talented players in Europe.
He was named in the team of the tournament (of the European Under-17 Football Championship in Malta last summer).
We need to get them ready but it’s hard when you can never make a mistake. That’s a challenge but we’re getting there and KT is getting his chances.
