Jozo Simunovic made his deadline day move to Celtic, but his former team are under investigation for financial irregularities.
Dinamo Zagreb chief executive Zdravko Mamic, his son Mario and Croatia FA executive president Damir Vrbanovic were among five people arrested yesterday by anti-corruption officers probing transfer irregularities.
Mamic was central to the negotiations that took place between Celtic and Zagreb, but either Celtic or Simunovic acted in an unethical manner during the negotiations or transfer completion.
The Croatian is being investigated after allegations were made that he took £7.5 million from the club.

Simunovic’s agent, Sam Stapleton, insists that it changes nothing about his move as quoted by the Daily Express.
Jozo doesn’t know anything about it and nothing changes for him.
It has got nothing to do with Jozo. He is a Celtic player and Zagreb is in his past. We don’t know anything about this – there’s nothing more I can tell you than what we all read on the internet.
The fee agreed between the two clubs is reported to be around £3.5 million, which could rise to £5 million if certain targets or clauses are met.
Zagreb will also receive a large amount of the sell-on fee, should the Croatian Under-21 international move on from Celtic Park.
