Celtic were poor today and endured a frustrating afternoon in front of goal as they struggled to create any clear chances.
The first-half saw Celtic create few chances, the best falling to Leigh Griffiths.
The striker could have found the net from eight-yards but couldn’t get the ball out from under his feet and get sufficient contact on it.
Griffiths’ second chance in the opening half came after Rogic was dispossessed and the ball fell to his feet, but again he couldn’t test MacDonald.
The second-half was much the same, as Celtic failed to create any clear-cut chances. Griffiths’ free-kick forced a great save from the Kilmarnock ‘keeper. Brown had an effort on goal and Boyata hit the bar late on, but ultimately, Celtic couldn’t find the breakthrough and dropped two points against Kilmarnock for the second time this season.
