Stuart Armstrong joined from Dundee United having been a key figure in their attack, but at Celtic he has to compete with many other talented players.
The midfielder thrived for the Tangerines behind the striker in the number 10 role. Under Ronny Deila however, he has readjusted and had to find success out on the left wing, with Johansen and Rogic occupying the number 10 role.
Armstrong, 23, is hoping to get his chance this Thursday to play centrally behind Leigh Griffiths or alongside Scott Brown against Ajax.
With Nir Bitton and Stefan Johansen suspended, this seems more than possible, giving the Scot the chance to put down a marker and prove to Deila where he belongs on the field.

Having signed in February this year, Armstrong impressed on the left side of midfield and had plenty of success cutting inside, scoring goals and assisting his team-mates.
As quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times, he said:
My role at Celtic has been predominantly on the left-hand side, which has also been good.
It’s been a good learning experience because it’s a different style of play from what I’ve been used to playing left at Dundee United.
But I think ultimately I enjoy playing in the middle. It’s up to the manager how he sees the game going and what players he wants to play which positions.
I’d like to see him played in the middle too. He is probably best utilised there.
