Like a rebellious Irishman, Ronny Deila believes his time will come – and will bring Celtic back to where they belong.
The Norwegian still believes with him at the helm, Celtic will return to the pinnacle of European football next season.
Celtic crashed out of the Europa League after another disappointing campaign in Europe, a they took a step back from last year in the competition.
From the outset, it was always going to be a difficult task in a tough group, but Celtic could have had progressed if it weren’t for a number of individual mistakes.

Emilio Izaguirre’s red card in the opening game aginst Ajax left Celtic with 10-men as they attempted to hang onto a lead in the closing stages.
Efe Ambrose’s calamitous defending cost Celtic a further two points against Fenerbahce and both performances against Molde were abject on the whole.
Some fans blame the manager, some have vented their anger towards the players and others have gone to the top of the hierarchy and picked out the board as the source of the problem.
Ronny Deila believes none of that matters however, as he alluded to when he spoke to BT Sport after the game.
Our day will come and it will be a next season.
We must go forward all the time. We still have a lot to fight for domestically and we still have one more game in Europe.
We will do everything to show the fans and everybody else that we want to be a good European club.
Last Friday at the club’s Annual General Meeting, Peter Lawwell gave his unequivocal support for Deila and said he has his full backing.
Deila added:
We are getting closer [to the Champions League], and next year we will be there.
