After his outburst on social media before Sunday’s game, Celtic look set to cut ties with Anthony Stokes.
Among the clubs rumoured to be interested in the 27-year-old are Cardiff City, whom Tony Watt has recently joined – a former Celtic player and hero on the night Celtic beat Barcelona.
This is according to a report in Wales Online, who says the Championship side are keen to sign the out-of-favour Irishman.

The news follows several tweets Stokes sent out prior to Celtic’s 3-1 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Stokes was linked with the Blue Birds last year and it’s almost certain he will leave Celtic after the latest incident.
A £1.5 million price tag, as a result of Stokes’ contract extension in October 2013, prevented the move from Glasgow to Cardiff materialising.
Ronny Deila and Stokes have never seen eye-to-eye, with Deila opting to use the striker on the left wing. What ensued was a string of poor performances with the striker out of position.
Deila turned to the transfer window, as Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven came into the squad at the beginning of February, limiting Stokes’ chances even further.
