UEFA are set to charge Celtic after a minority of fans set off flares during last night’s game in Istanbul.
A few fans set off three flares in the away stand as they watched Ronny’s Deila’s men close out their Europa League campaign with a 1-1 draw.
It is thought the fans breached article 16 of the disciplinary regulations and the club will most likely be fined following the incident.
The governing body confirmed that the Hoops will be charged for the fourth time this year after being fined for a number of incidents involving crowd and on-field disturbances in last season’s Europa League campaign.

Europa League ties against Dinamo Zagreb and Inter Milan led to the club being fined £7300 and £9500 respectively for supporter behaviour and misconduct.
Celtic have been previously warned about the incidents and were threatened with a partial closing of Celtic Park on European night’s.
It seems a few fans took up on the idea of ‘no pyro no party’ – with Celtic already out of the Europa League.
That will only put the club out of more money and some fans without a ticket to a game, and it’s a shame a minority could ruin a European game for a section of fans.
Last December, the club released a statement and said:
We have repeatedly called for the use of flares to stop. We cannot and will not allow the safety of our supporters or the reputation of our great club to be compromised by the actions of a tiny minority.
It is time those responsible understand the damage this does to the club they claim to support.
