Nir Bitton has responded to the speculation about his future at Celtic in a classy manner.
The midfielder was linked with a move away from Paradise earlier this summer after his agent, Dudu Dhan, reportedly said he would leave in the summer.
However, soon after the comments emerged, the club and Dahan quickly refuted the comments as simply untrue in a statement.
Now the midfielder has spoken out about the comments and transfer rumours that emerged in the last week.

As quoted by the Daily Express, the 24-year-old said:
There has been a lot of speculation about me in the last days but I don’t care.
I’ve just signed a five-year contract, so to say I am going to leave now is a bit crazy.
Everybody can say what they want. I have no control over that.
All I care about is Celtic. This is the most important thing for me and I just want to keep improving myself here.
Bitton joined Celtic in the summer of 2013 from FC Ashdod and didn’t impress fans early on with a red card against Ajax in the group stages of the Champions League.
As well as some niggling injuries which hindered his chances of establishing himself in the first-team during his debut season in the Hoops.
His second season under Ronny Deila was much more impressive as he became the mainstay defensive midfielder alongside Scott Brown and pulled the strings in midfield.
When Bitton was approached about extending his contract with the Premier League champions last month, there was only one answer he could give.
I really appreciated when the club offered me five years and as soon as I got the offer I didn’t think twice. I just told my agent, ‘OK, let’s do it’.
His performances this season have been under par at times, but there’s no doubting his talent when he is confident in his own ability.
Bitton will be hoping to the disappointment of the Europa League firmly behind him and kick on this season, starting on Sunday against St Johnstone.
