Celtic are set to be rivalled in their pursuit to sign Aston Villa’s out-of-favour striker Libor Kozak in January.
Polish outfit Piast Gliwice are prepared to battle the league champions for Kozak’s services, as both clubs look to bolster their attacking options when the January transfer window opens.
Kozak, who signed for Villa in a hefty £7 million deal in 2013, has found chances hard to come by in the last year due to injury setbacks and the now-departed presence of Christian Benteke during his time at Villa, however Kozak will now seek pastures new as he attempts to revive his career.
Hoops manager Ronny Deila was in attendance for Aston Villa’s Under-21 victory over Derby, as Kozak impressively netted a brace and displayed all the attributes necessary to don the Hoops jersey in a 2-1 victory for the Villa youngsters.

However Piast, who currently lead the Polish first division, are also taking an interest in the 26-year-old Czech international.
A move for Kozak is extremely likely in January as he appears to be overlooked by manager Remi Garde, making the move an attractive one for both Celtic and Piast.
