Celtic fans have received some good holiday fortune as loanee Tyler Blackett looks set to return to his parent club Manchester United, as per the Daily Mail.
The 21-year-old was thought to be a coup for Ronny Deila back in August having come through the United academy and made a string of first-team appearances under Louis Van Gaal.
He joined the league champions with the expectation of being a regular starter and make an impact similar to Jason Denayer, who moved on loan from Manchester City.
However, Blackett has failed to make the required impact and hasn’t made a first-team appearance in the Hoops jersey since Celtic’s 2-1 loss to Molde at Paradise in the beginning of November.

Since then he has featured a number of times for the development squad but has fallen out of favour under Deila.
The England international made a total of seven appearances for Celtic and will now move back to United to cover their defensive injuries to Luke Shaw and Marcus Rojo.
Great piece of returning business
