Tom Rogic’s blistering effort was cancelled out by Osman Sow as Celtic moved one point clear at the top of the table.
The away side started much the brighter of the two sides and Nadir Ciftci and Tom Rogic both forced Neil Alexander to make saves.
Hearts created two great chances, but both were matched by the reflexes of Craig Gordon, who expertly clawed away the first on the goal line.
It was Nir Bitton who gave Rony Deila’s men the lead after a brilliantly timed through ball to Nir Bitton who cooly slotted the ball into the bottom right corner.
The lead was short-lived however as Sam Nicholson beat Mikael Lustig at the back post to bring Hearts level two minutes before half-time.
Rogic stunning effort which crashed off the bar and left the ‘keeper with no chance but Sow matched it with a stunning strike of his own three minutes from time.
