Out of favour Everton winger Aiden McGeady could make a return to Paradise in order to end his nightmare season at Everton.
McGeady’s only club football this campaign has been in a League Cup match against Barnsley, having been replaced on the right wing by Arouna Kone for the majority of this season.
The 29-year-old was a product of the Celtic academy, and spent six years at the club before being sold to Russian side Spartak Moscow in 2010. During his spell in Scotland, he made 184 appearances, scoring 29 times and setting up 47 goals.
According to the Scotsman, McGeady could be set for a return to the league champions to bolster their squad.

He joined Everton in January 2014 and has made 43 appearances for the Toffees scoring a solitary goal and assisting seven. This season, the closest he has come to a league appearance was when he was an unused substitute in Everton’s 3-2 victory over West Brom.
Ronny Deila could do with another out-and-out winger to help the squad and the flair McGeady possesses could get Celtic fans back on the edge on their seats once again.
A return to his Bhoyhood side could also help him get a place in Ireland’s Euro 2016 squad, with Martin O’Neill calling for the winger to start getting minutes on the field.
Depends on how much at least we know Aiden can open up a defense
Is that the best we can hope for, a Everton reject, was only ever a one trick wonder, he’s not even that now, please leave him in Liverpool.
I agree the money has to be right, I’d let Forrest go as he is just a speed freak with end product once in a blue moon. He’s more interested in falling down claiming he’s been fouled instead of getting up and getting on with it till the whistle blows.
