Midfielder Nir Bitton says that the performance level of Celtic during the 2-2 draw with Hearts on Sunday should be the benchmark for all future games as they look for their first win in three games.
Bitton put Ronny Deila’s side ahead in the game, but Sam Nicholson equalised soon after undoing all of Celtic’s good work in the first-half.
Celtic would have thought that Tom Rogic’s goal would be enough to give them all three points but a late wonder strike by Osman Sow earned the home side a point.
Speaking after the game, Bitton said that Celtic need to perform to the same levels in all future ties, starting with the clash against Dundee on Wednesday evening.
He said, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
We need to play like we played on Sunday. I think everybody was up for the fight and everybody fought for each other and when we want to win it starts from there.
Everyone knows we have a lot of quality in the team, but we need to be prepared to fight before we bring the qualities to the game. When we fight for each other and do the simple things, we look a good team.
When we played last week against Motherwell at home, we didn’t do it and we lost the game, so we just need to make sure we do the same thing we did on Sunday.

The 24-year-old was also asked if Celtic should be further ahead at the top of the table at this stage of the season. They currently sit one point above Aberdeen, but they do have a game in hand.
We have dropped a lot of points on the way, but these things happen and we just need to make sure we go to every game prepared the best [we can] and try to win every game.
