Player ratings: Celtic 3-0 Stranraer (A)

Celtic took a while to get into the game but once they did Deila’s Bhoys dominated proceedings against Stranraer.

The opening goal of the game came through Leigh Griffiths who fired home from inside the area after Callum McGregor’s pass to the in-form striker.

Carlton Cole caused problems all afternoon for the home side who struggled to cope with his physical presence.

The 33-year-old bagged his first goal in almost a year after heading home from Nir Bitton’s looping cross 42 minutes into the game.

In the second half Celtic continued to dominate as both front men had chances to score, including Cole, who’s overhead kick was well saved by Max Currie.

Griffiths poked home a third goal in the 84th minute for his 22nd goal of the season.
