After rumours emerged that Tom Rogic is being targeted by Leeds United, Celtic are set to offer him a new contract.
The latest news comes from the Yorkshire Evening Post chief football writer Phil Hay, who says Celtic want to see off the interest shown by the Championship club.
Rogic’s form this season has been much better since he overcame a number of injuries and been a regular player in the first-team.
The Australian international had a torrid start to life in the green and white Hoops after signing for Celtic under Neil Lennon in 2012.

A series of ankle and groin injuries followed by failed loan spells and more injury problems left the 23-year-old wondering if his career would ever take off following his move from Central Coast Mariners.
However, this season he has made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and adding four assists.
Although the playmaker has impressed Celtic fans this season, there is still room for improvement and most importantly, consistency in consecutive games.
For now at least, he looks set to remain a Celtic player, and fans will hope the board will make sure he’s at the club for the long-haul.
