Ronny Deila has insisted that revenge is not the word ahead of this Saturday’s meeting with Ross County at Celtic Park.
The Staggies dumped the Hoops out of the Scottish League Cup in the semi-final but Deila wants to bounce back and avenge the loss, rather than get revenge.
In front of a home crowd that will be looking for a vast improvement on the pitch, Celtic will hope to bring back a ruthless edge to their play.
With the race for the league title heating up, Celtic will hope to get a win and move three points clear again of Aberdeen who don’t play until Monday.
The Hoops still have a game in hand against Dundee to play after two postponements caused by the weather and the fixture scheduling for last weekend’s Scottish Cup.

Kris Commons and Tom Rogic return to the Celtic squad after recovering from a hamstring injury as well as tonsillitis and an ankle injury respectively.
The former is still battling sickness according to Deila and is a doubt to play on Saturday.
Saidy Janko has returned to training but isn’t fully fit to return to the first-team yet.
Jozo Simunovic could be out for longer than first feared after finding out that he played for over a month with a cracked bone in his knee.
Ross County
Craig Curran is still missing as he waits for a long-term concussion problem to clear up.
Defender Scott Boyd also remains on the sidelines with a calf injury.
