Charlie Mulgrew is being targeted by a number of English clubs and a Premier League side are the latest to join the race.

According the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion are interested in the utility man whose contract expires in the summer.

The 29-year-old has spent the last five years at the club and will become one of six current players to win five league titles in-a-row, should Celtic retain their title this season.

Mulgrew won the PFA Scottish Player of the Year award back in 2011, but has struggled with a number of recurring injuries in recent years which have hampered his chances of holding down a regular first-team spot.

He has previously been linked with Blackburn and Bournemouth who are looking to sign the versatile midfielder and defender for free this summer.

On Wednesday Mulgrew made his 200th appearance in the green and white Hoops, but has made just 12 of those 200 appearances this season – scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
