Georgios Samaras has admitted that Celtic will always be a club close to his heart after joining American side Rayo OKC.
The Greek international was speaking on an Ask me Anything thread on Reddit and was answering fans questions.
I love Celtic from the first day until now. Celtic will always be in my heart.
Samaras left Celtic at the end of the 2014 season after the club decided against renewing his contract.
He went on to play for West Brom but struggled to break into their first-team and left after just one season by mutual consent following a loan spell in Saudi Arabia.
Hoops fans have always held the 31-year-old in high esteem for his performances in the biggest games of the season and especially in Champions League games when he sent fans inside Paradise into pandemonium.

Samaras joined Celtic on loan under Gordon Strachan in January 2008 and signed in the summer on a permanent deal from Manchester City after impressing the current Scotland national team boss.
In total, Samaras made 243 appearances for Celtic, scoring 71 goals and provided 50 assists during his time at the club and will continue to be remembered fondly by fans.
