Player ratings: Celtic 3-1 Hearts (H)

A double from Patrick Roberts gave Celtic a comfortable win to move seven points clear at the top of the table.

The hosts deservedly went one nil down thanks to a stunning strike from Jamie Walker but fought back to win comfortably in the end.

Hearts’ early lead after just five minutes would have worried fans but the team dug in and equalised ten minutes later.

Gary Mackay-Steven returned to the side after missing the trip to Rugby Park and fired home from 20 yards after the Jambos failed to clear their lines.

Then Roberts took the game by the scruff of his neck and scored twice either side of half-time to give Celtic a two-goal lead.

His first, a delicate chip over Neil Alexander after being played through by Tom Rogic, was followed up by lovely curling effort into the bottom left corner.
