Ronny Deila was coy over his future at Celtic following another loss in a Cup semi-final at Hampden Park.
Deila’s job is far from secure after the latest defeat with almost everyone expecting him to depart this summer.
Despite this also being a firm held belief amongst fans, the Norwegian was defiant as ever as he looks to rally his side towards his second league title at Celtic.
As quoted by the Scotsman, he said:
Today I am very disappointed. I’m not thinking about that [my future] at all. I know why the question is coming but again we have to just lift ourselves after this disappointment and get the league over the line.
I’m not very satisfied with our performance today. We could have been better. We didn’t press well enough in the first half, we were not intense enough in that we could have intercepted more balls than we did. We need to be quicker and calmer on the ball.

A fifth consecutive league title could be wrapped up in the coming weeks, but the pain of losing in the derby will take some time to heal.
The Hoops could only find the next twice from 33 attempts on goal against the lower league side and when it went to penalties it was Rangers who held their nerve.
One thing is for sure, the next time the two teams meet, Celtic will be out to avenge for today’s defeat, but it won’t be Ronny Deila in the dug-out.
Celtic’s attention will turn to the league again on Sunday when they face Ross County as they look to maintain their eight-point gap to Aberdeen.
